    Valerie McMurray

Valerie McMurray is the visionary founder and CEO of Soleil Toujours LLC, a pioneering sun and skincare brand that emerged in 2015. Her innovative approach has revolutionized the sunscreen industry by blending top-tier, safe sun care with anti-aging technology, all presented in environmentally friendly packaging. Her commitment extends beyond product development to educating the public on the importance of using clean, reef-safe sunscreen all year round.

    Inspiration for Soleil Toujours

The concept for Soleil Toujours was born out of Valerie's need for safer skincare products during her third pregnancy. Concerned by the harmful chemicals commonly found in sunscreens, she embarked on a quest to create a better alternative that would be safe for the environment and her family. This led to the development of Soleil Toujours, fulfilling a market need for health-conscious and eco-friendly sun care products.

    Entrepreneurial Journey

Before launching Soleil Toujours, Valerie owned a luxury resort-wear line named Mer Soleil. Her background in luxury goods and an 18-year career in investment banking provided a strong foundation for her venture into the skincare industry. Her transition was driven by her deep understanding of luxury consumer needs and her expertise in business management.

A New Era of Sun Care

Valerie McMurray's dedication to innovation led to the creation of cutting-edge, mineral-based sunscreens. The hallmark of her product line is the EcoSun, a proprietary blend of vitamin C ester, vitamin D, red algae, and bisabolol, which exemplifies her commitment to non-toxic skincare. Her products are designed to protect against UV damage and promote youthful, radiant skin.

    Soleil Toujours' Market Presence

Since its launch, Soleil Toujours has been lauded in numerous prestigious magazines and has secured its place in luxury retail outlets like Blue Mercury. The brand achieved a significant milestone by entering Sephora in 2023 and launching the Summer Camp brand at Walmart in 2022, targeting a broader audience with affordable, clean skincare solutions.

    Sustainability and Community Engagement

Valerie ensures that Soleil Toujours operates sustainably, maintaining a net-zero carbon footprint and supporting coral reef restoration through the Goldeneye Foundation. She remains actively involved in her community, contributing to various educational and charitable organizations.
